JEFF ROSS

Jeff Ross is an educator, director, and writer. He taught English at Belt High School and is former director of the University of Montana English Teaching Program. He founded and directed the nationally recognized Belt Valley Shakespeare Players, now the Young Valley Players. Jeff earned an AB from the University of California-Davis, and a Master of Integrated Arts and Education, a Master of Teaching English, and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Montana where he also received the Richard Hugo Memorial Scholarship.

Jeff received the 2016 Montana Teacher of Excellence from the National Council of Teachers of English. In 2013 he participated in “Teaching Shakespeare Through Performance,” a three-week teacher residency at Shakespeare’s Globe in London.
